Art and design in varied forms have always been a strong interest in Grace’s life. After graduating from Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, she began her career as a technical illustrator at Union Carbide, and then later independently as a graphic designer for various small Connecticut companies looking for a professional image. Eventually Grace began changing her focus towards illustrating for garden and travel magazines, which over time and study led to fine art painting in watercolor.

In 2006, Grace participated in her first fine art, juried group show at the Kent Art Association, CT and since then has been accepted into numerous local and national juried exhibitions. She has won awards in watercolor from The New Britain Museum of American Art Member's show, The Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club and The Connecticut Watercolor Society. Grace is a signature member of The Connecticut Watercolor Society and in 2013 became a juried artist signature member of Connecticut Women Artists. In November 2016, Grace earned artist signature status from The North East Watercolor Society.

Throughout her life, Grace has had a strong desire to paint, create, and design and she looks forward to continuing to share her work with others through both exhibiting and teaching. Grace is currently an instructor at The Wethersfield Academy for the Arts and privately in Newtown, CT.

“My paintings vary in subject matter and reflect, interpret and represent my world as I am busy living in it. While describing through light, form and texture, internal relationships emerge and engage through the glistening values of the watercolor medium. As a result, a painting unfolds, illuminating a memorable, personal life experience both real and imagined."
